Written during my short stint in college - and trying to unravel life as seen by myself and my peers. I never figured it out... I don't think it's meant to be "understood". But, nonetheless, a very reflective time.
lyrics
There's no truth at all - only reasons to reflect on
If we, like leaves, turned yellow in the fall
Would the moon still pull the ocean's weight?
There's just something about a song
Sneaks passed our mental blocks
(weaves itself around your heart)
Goose-bumps are what I miss the most
About growing into a leathered adult
I'm asking, is feeling believing?
(Oh yeah, oh yeah)
Feeling holds us, like a child
It's what we find most endearing in our lives
It can spark the purest of a smile
Or the most brutal of hate crimes
In the alley sits my old friend, me
Holding fast to the shadow of a scene (Ah, who...?)
