The road we claimed to be safe and paved is showing signs of it's old age I never made a point to take her back and say you need to stay And now she's gone throwing away our bond I can't move on until it circles We are both lovers that act like theives stealing sidewalk scenes Caring not for a thing unless it's the very best Sweet and unsuffering You can say it was your faith that gave away Little day by day until no love remained But I can't be defined as a man who's back is a target where ever he stands

I know it's not your way but it still kills Feels like a virus that doesn't sit still The rope is cut now I'm floating free In truth there's no anger left in me Let's find a new way to say, "I love you" Let's stop by our grave and chisels new names For the hope that your voice remains next to mine Singing our favorite lines We were two ghosts freightening their hearts Floating from cafes in Ester Short Park Your hand stuck to mine with the grip of a locked vise There we were never questioning our lies Let's find a new way to say, "I love you" Let's stop by our grave and chisels new names For the hope that your voice remains next to mine Singing our favorite lines

Oh, my ears have heard the sound A whisper along the hillside Asking me to keep belting out When the canyon can't speak for herself Everyday my heart shifts it's shape From new born to a wrecking ball I throw stones until I cry And my eyes gaze on open lies Oh, come November we'll be singing drunken songs To regain a voice that belonged Once only to the young and in love Perched on the mantle of what was I keep an hour-glass resting by My mirror to remind me how soon beauty fades I'll flip it back over when the mirror finally breaks Oh, but your eyes, they reflect mine Just like being a boy, left in the dark Only with his last thoughts Oh come April we'll be swimming under moonlight Tucked between sheets just before the mounting sunrise And out of our coma's by lunch time

about

Technically, this will be the new album for my 2010-2012 recordings. Name may change, as well as songs. But, I'm hoping to keep it all fresh recordings this time around.
